Bad boy Shawn, got caught with your hand in the "Cookie Jar". Actually I think this kind of thing goes on a lot on lots of different scales from large to small. Ebay knows if they sue shawn it will get huge press and have the effect they seek of putting everyone who is thinking of such trickery on notice.

he doesn't care the people who are making him money.
He wont reply back to who ever private messages him.
This is the right thing that has happened to him.
he should go to jail, then he will understand what is what.

Yep, it sure looks to be true. Ebay probably didn't suffer as much as other affiliates who would have gotten the commission, though.

I can't say that I'm surprized to see this. It has been known for sometime now that digitalpoint owners are more than a bit shadey to say the least. Its sad though that these idiots have to ruin it for the honest and good people.

eBay has many times the cash that Digital Point has so I am sure they will settle out of court. Provided DP is actually liable of such accusations.

I'm wonder what will happen to DigitalPoint if ebay is successful in their suit. I think it'll be difficult to prove that all 3 defendants are actually guilty.

very interesting... never knew the dp owners were shady! It makes you understand why Ebay has to raise their fees so much. They really need to cover their butts! This is another case of being too greedy, I mean come on DP --- there are better ways of making money with a huge community like yours.
